Tim Navis is a Los Angeles based photographer with work spanning medium format portraiture, documentary photography, and the wet plate collodion tintype process. His images have appeared on album releases including Tycho's Dive (Ghostly International, 2011) and Deru's Torn in Two (2018).

His work draws from the American West landscape and from a deep investment in process-based image making. Through Silverado Tintype, he brought the 19th-century tintype portrait tradition to contemporary audiences across Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and beyond.
